Masonic Scenic Overlook

The Masonic Scenic Overlook (vista) has an elevation of 1,155 feet above sea level. The vista overlooks the beautiful Pembina River and the Pembina Gorge. Hiking trails with benches from Kittson Trading Post lead directly to the lookout 200' down to the Pembina River. A beautiful site in the summer and fall, the trails are available for year round recreation, including hiking, biking, and horseback riding, cross country skiing and snowmobiling. The Masonic Scenic Overlook is located within Walhalla city limits, located approximately 1/4 mile off the Rendezvous Region Scenic Backway and was developed into a beautiful site with retaining wall, benches, picnic table, viewfinder, and life-size elk made by a local artist.
