Hjemkomst Landing Canoe and Kayak Rentals

Experience the Red River in downtown Moorhead first-hand! Paddle the Red River and enjoy scenic views and great exercise!

Vessels are rented on a first-come, first-served basis for use at the Hjemkomst Landing only, 202 1st Ave N, Moorhead. 

HOURS OF OPERATION

• May 28 - September 7 (closed July 4)
• Tuesdays and Thursdays 4 - 8 p.m.
• Saturdays 11 a.m - 6 p.m.
• Sundays noon - 6 p.m.

COST

• $10/hour/vessel, prorated after the first hour. 

INDIVIDUAL RENTALS

• Single and tandem kayaks and canoes are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Include paddles and life jackets. 

GROUP RENTALS

• Group paddling rentals are available outside of regular rental hours for a $100 minimum rental fee, dependent on staff availability.
• Reservations must be made at least 14 days in advance by calling 218.299.5078.
