Michael & Cydney-From Sibley to the City

Get ready for an unforgettable music experience! On April 19th, 2025 at 8PM, Bill Sorensen Productions is thrilled to host the much-loved musical duo Michael Cartwright & Cydney McQuillan-Grace, at the Bismarck Event Center, 315 South 5th Street, Bismarck, ND, 58504. This event promises to be a night filled with incredible performances and vibrant energy.

The concert event “Michael & Cydney-From Sibley to the City”, will follow Michael & Cydney’s journey from their highly successful Duets performance at Sibley Park (2022) to their musical adventures in their current home of New York City. It will feature memorable selections from their North Dakota performances at: The Laughing Sun Brewery, 4th of July Symphony Spectacular- BMSO Symphony (2023), Simply The Best- BSO Symphony (2024), Christmas Dreams- BMSO Symphony (2024), and Magical Medora Christmas Tour- Bill Sorensen Productions (2024), as well as a few new special selections.

Michael & Cydney are not only a duo on the stage, but are a loving couple off stage as well. “There was a magic between us in that first Sibley Park show which was amplified by the unique beauty and community that is only found in North Dakota. It’s one of the reasons we look forward to coming back as much as we can. We’re hoping every audience member will feel and bring home the magic that we share on stage together.” -Michael Cartwright. Michael Cartwright is a multi-instrumentalist and entertainer whose family roots hail from North Dakota, where they have the sole-surviving dairy farm in Oliver County. You may recognize Michael from his time hosting the popular morning television show “Studio 701”on KXMB-CBS, or from his sold-out annual Valentine’s Day shows at Laughing Sun Brewery, or perhaps from his TEDx Bismarck presentation: Art of The Frontman. Michael is the music director for the Los Angeles based event band Project M. Michael is known for his smooth and sultry vocal tone as well as his skilled trumpet playing. Cydney McQuillan-Grace is a long time New Yorker who has had the opportunity to get to know and love North Dakota through her musical adventures aside Michael Cartwright. Cydney’s distinctive voice has been described as sensitive, rich, soulful and powerful. Her talents have taken her around the world performing in nine countries and across the US, performing at world famous venues such as the London Palladium (UK), and Primavera Sound (Spain), and Radio City Music Hall (NYC). Most recently Cydney joined Miley Cyrus, Brittany Howard, and The Roots on stage for SNL50: The Homecoming Concert (streaming on Peacock), as well as Saturday Night Live 50th Anniversary Special (NBC). This will be a seated event. Reserved Tickets for the first 4 rows are available for $25 each, General Admission tickets are available for $20.
