A very large 30 foot-by-60 foot American flag on a 130-foot pole soars above the Veterans' memorial at Fort Seward. This new veterans' memorial honors the brave North Dakotans who fought and died for our country, and highlights the Congressional Medal of Honor winners from our state.

Hours of Operation: The grounds of Ft. Seward are open to the public year-round. The 30 foot-by-60 foot flag is displayed only when weather allows. Ft. Seward Interpretive Center is staffed from Memorial Day to Labor Day, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
