Vacation Packages
North Dakota Tourism offers partners a free opportunity to list travel
packages on www.ndtourism.com. These packages are included in the
Vacation Packages section of the official state tourism Web site.
You
can enter and update package information by using partner access
tools. Once your package is entered, it will be reviewed by North
Dakota Tourism staff and will then appear live on the ndtourism.com
site.
How To Participate
New partners Follow instructions to register for partner access. Once your partner access is approved, you may begin entering in vacation package information.
Returning partners Log-in to your partner access account. Follow the easy steps to enter your vacation package details.
If you have questions regarding creating an account or entering information, contact Scooter Pursley or Tricia Miller.
Package Criteria
- A package is typically one price with a number of components.
- The price should be equal or lower than the total cost of the same goods and services if purchased separately.
- The package should have at least one point-of-purchase.
- A package must include at least three of the following: lodging, meals, transportation or shuttle service, guided activity or service, offered more than once.
Additional Information
- Generally, taxes, surcharges and incidentals are not included in the tour price.
- In addition to a predetermined price and number of features, a package tour covers a specific period of time.
- Lodging may including camping if gear is provided.
- A package may feature optional elements (or add-ons) that permit
the purchaser to extend the length of stay or purchase extra features,
such as a canoe trip or horseback ride. In all cases, the terms
and conditions of the contract specify what is covered by the quoted
price.
- A package may also feature "value-added" incentives, which are free or discounted options to make the package more attractive.
Questions regarding vacation package qualifications, as well as learning based vacations, can be directed to Annette Schilling.
